WHAT WE DO & WAYS TO GIVE

Hike Kidz Foundation works to provide programs, partnerships and campaigns to address crisis in our community, locally. We fundraise and connect through grass roots and we look outside the area to bring resources in. We engage in the community, go into the neighborhoods and into the rooms with the ones that serve. We ask what is needed and are determined to find solutions for our local needs. We are committed to raising awareness and opening doors for volunteers and those in need. We find creative ways to get the word out and to being our community together. We strive for excellence and humbly appreciate the love we have received as a new organization. What we accomplish is through determination, staying true to our mission and keeping it local. Our partnerships, sponsors and donors are our lifeline and the fuel that keeps us burning. Your donations go to the ones that need it the most, this is our commitment.
Our local children in crisis include:
-
The Mckinney-vento students (homeless assistance act)
-
Foster care children and students
-
The unaccounted for
-
The underserved
-
Food & clothing insecurities
-
Those in need of an emergency housing referral/funding
If you would like to donate directly to our overhead and operating expenses to help us continue to serve our community, please donate directly and this will help fund our basic costs of running the foundation as this is a public charity.

HOLD MY HEART
Love is on the way: "Hold My Heart: "The Love Wins Campaign was created to raise crisis funds for our local students in the most need. The students include the McKinney-Vento students that suffer from housing insecurities.
We have partnered with the Warren County Public School's "Project Hope Team" that acts as our liaison to the local registered McKinney-Vento students. In 2024-2025, there were 71 of these students registered.
BOXES OF BASICS PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM
HIKE KIDZ FOUNDATION CLOTHING REFFERAL PROGRAM
Boxes of Basics works directly with the Hike Kidz Foundation and its local partners in Warren County to help serve the need of basics for the local children most in need.
Our first order of boxes will be delivered in November and in partnership with the WCPS directly. If you would like to become a referring partner and hear more about this program, please contact us here.

"We are thrilled to announce that we are partnering with the Hike Kidz Foundation to bring Boxes of Basics to the most vulnerable children in need in Front Royal and Warren County.
The Hike Kidz Foundation is already doing amazing work to unburden children and their caretakers by meeting basic needs, and they are continuing to invest in bringing resources to those kids. Together, we’ll make an even greater impact." - Boxes of Basics

The "If I could. I would..." program is designed to reach the children and let them know they can dream big, want many things and that when you ask you may receive.
We have partnered with many local extra curricular organizations to help provide what may have not been possible. Our community is making it possible for children to thrive that otherwise would not have this opportunity.
At our community outreach events we offer forms for the local children and parents to fill out that let us know the dreams and needs to fulfill them.

A-Z School Shopping Experience
This program is designed to make sure each child feels they have the same opportunity to shop for choice clothing on the first day of school. We work directly with the Warren County Public School's as well as open the opportunity up to the community to apply.
In August & September of 2025 we were able to clothe over 250 students with new and choice clothing for the fall school year. Below you can donate to help us do this again for the 2026 school year.
