
FIRE AND ICE CHARITY GOLF CLASSIC
The Grace Fund is an immediate relief plan until the family/children are able to enroll into one of the local programs available to them. This is a process. It is vital to keep the children with the parents and in safe conditions while in crisis. The Grace Fund is for crisis shelter, heat in vehicles and heat in a home when assistance isn't available that day. Until our community has an active and functioning Women's & Children's shelter and a place for parents to be with the children in immediate need, we must have a plan. We must be able to give a small grace period to safety. Our first partner, The Doubletree by Hilton has helped us pave the way including helping us with this charity golf tournament.
The Hike Kidz Hub is a community crisis supply space that is open to referring community partners including DSS and the WCPS's for supplies. The First Baptist Church donated the space that is maintained by volunteers. This space also fills the gap of having one central location for crisis items to be accessed.

20% of donations will also go towards the yearly operating expenses for the Hike Kidz Foundation.

There are many ways to help prepare us for the winter and launch the Grace Fund now. You may attend the event, donate an auction item, donate directly, sponsor the event as well as volunteer.
