How Boxes of Basics works with us
The Hike Kidz Foundation works with referring partners to get the list of the children that are in need of clothing. As the referring partner for Warren County, our job is to keep this list organized and send it to Boxes of Basics to fulfill in their warehouse. Our partnership simplifies the process for them, allowing them to do what they do. Once the boxes are delivered, Hike Kidz Foundation contacts the recipients with a pick up date.

Boxes of Basics provides: 8 gently used outfits, coat, hat, gloves, new shoes, new underwear and socks, hygiene kit and a book. Each packed with love and by amazing volunteers.

Our community gives back by collecting gently used and new items at designated drop off locations:

Good Lions in Royal Plaza Shopping Center

Hike Construction 417 N Royal Ave.

These items then go to the "Hike Kidz Hub" the donated space at First Baptist Church. There the items are sorted by volunteers and then sent to Boxes of Basics to circulate in a different area.
How you can help

Volunteer to work at the "Hike Kidz Hub" to sort donations.

Collect donations from the drop off locations and take to the hub.

Become a drop off location: Churches and schools requested.

Donate to our cause.

Become a referring partner for those in need. Including churches, Doctors offices and local organizations.
