How the Grace Fund works
The Grace fund will fund the immediate crisis needs of emergency shelter/heat assistance for parents and families in the winter. This fund makes it possible to keep the child with the parent, as Warren County does not have a shelter for children at this time.
This is a 48 hour fund is available through a referral from the WCPS, Front Royal Police Department, Warren County Sheriffs Department, First Baptist Church of Front Royal, and the Department of Social Services to Hike Kidz Foundation directly. Hike Kidz Foundation works with local Hotels and Property Managers to establish discounted rates and systems to quickly accommodate this situation.
Once the family is able to be moved into one of the local established programs and intake is complete (usually 48 hours), the Grace Fund is complete.

If you are in need of shelter, facing homelessness, nearing eviction, do not wait to get help. There are resources available to you. First contact one of the below establishments. If you are not able to connect with them in time, contact your local Police department or Sheriffs Department for a referral to us.
