With music, mirror balls, and local heroes ready to bust a move, the first-ever “Dueling Disco” event is spinning its way into Warren County on June 27, bringing together the community to support a powerful cause: helping 200 local students start the school year with brand-new, choice clothing.
Hosted by the Hike Kidz Foundation and co-sponsored by Jean’s Jewelers, the high-energy fundraiser will take place at Shenandoah Valley Golf Club from 5:30 to 10:30 p.m. The event combines a disco-themed dance competition with a car giveaway, live music, dinner, and auctions — all in support of the foundation’s “Clothe the Kidz” initiative.
The goal? Raise $70,000 — or $350 per student — to empower children from Warren County Public Schools with clothing that boosts confidence, dignity, and readiness for the classroom.
“This is about helping these kids walk into school feeling equal, prepared, and proud,” said Amber Veitenthal, Front Royal’s Vice Mayor and President of the Hike Kidz Foundation Board. “We’re not just giving them clothes — we’re giving them confidence.”
