The Hike Kidz Foundation is a 501c3 non profit organization located in Front Royal Virginia.

Our mission is to provide for and unburden the children and caretakers in our local area who are without access to the basic needs to thrive, equally, as children should.

Our goal is to inform and raise awareness with real data and share real opportunities to help, locally.

WE BELIEVE

We believe in getting straight to the problem and helping. We believe that learning and sharing what we learn is the way to help. In order to do this, we must reach out and invite those suffering in the community to share with us. Our first priority is to create a space to share hardships, specific and immediate needs of the local children. With this data we will be a more informed community sharing the responsibility of unburdening together.

We believe our community is powerful. The amount of volunteers, initiatives and passion to contribute selflessly is evident and effective. We believe there is an audience, though, that we have yet to reach and we want to create a magical way to get there. A way that has no fear of judgement and feels alive with possibility. We believe you are able reach the children this way, by providing more light in the midst of uncertainty.

We believe that by bringing organizations together, we are able to help more children and promote community wide healing.

RAISING AWARENESS

15.49% of population in Front Royal live in poverty, 65% higher than the state average, which is at 10.2%

There are at least 60 homeless students in our community attending our local schools. Others that are still coming forward.

Cost of living has rose 19.82% over the last three years.

Median household income for Front Royal is $62,735. Median household income for the state of Virginia is $87,249.

Clothe The Kidz 2025 Fresh Start Back to School Initiative

Our goal is to fundraise and form community partnerships to provide complete school supplies shopping for the local students that need this assistance.

The items will include new and students personal choice clothing, backpack, shoes, hair accessories, and coats. Other items such as hygiene, hair cuts, and backpack supplies will also be provided.

We will offer forms to the schools and facilitate the shopping with our community partners. The community may also fill out a needs request form directly on our site.

Hike Kidz Foundation & Mom's Club of Front Royal

Saturday, April 19th, 3-5PM
417 North Royal Ave.
Hike Kidz Foundation partnered with the Mom's Club of Front Royal will head out a community Easter giving for the local children in need. Our goal is 200 baskets.

10th Annual Family Fun Day: PIRATES & MARDI GRAS

Saturday, May 10th, 10AM - 6PM

We plan to bring fun, support and local resources to further the mission of helping our local children to this event on its 10th anniversary.
