HOLD A REMAINING HEART TODAY
Give hope and survival needs to a local student

The Hold My Heart:  Love Wins Campaign was created to connect our community to the local registered  McKinney-Vento students and to help meet the needs they have throughout the school year while protecting their privacy.
The McKinney-Vento students are considered homeless or without secure housing and this federal act protects the privacy of the student and the family during the crisis.

The Hike Kidz Foundation is partnered with the Warren County Public Schools "Project Hope Team" and helps raise the funds needed to help the student through this crisis while still attending school, daily.

The Vision

The Vision of the Hold My Heart: Love Wins Campaign is to connect us all to the awareness of our most vulnerable students and to do it through LOVE and ART.

The Process

Each student was given two hearts to paint, one for the sponsor to hold at home, one for the student and community to see. When you choose a heart to sponsor you get to hold the small heart. The Heart you sponsor will have your name on it, or the name you choose to honor.

The Hearts Art Piece which will be displayed at Stonebranch Center for the Arts to honor the children and their artwork. The art piece will be unveiled October 10th, 2025 at the Stonebranch Center for the Arts on Main Street in Front Royal and will remain there until next years hearts are unveiled. The new hearts will be first seen at the Dueling Disco event on July 27th 2026.

The Hope is to use this piece of art to further connect the community through art to raise awareness for the McKinney-Vento students and Project Hope Team and the inspiring messages that art and children can bring to us.

In addition, the parents and children can see who is "holding their heart" and feel inspired by connection and know they have someone who was connected directly through the child's work of art.
