Project Safe: The Task Force.
A local team of dedicated community resources come together to protect and provide.
Hike Kidz Foundation is currently forming safety partnerships and collaborations with established resources in our town and surrounding areas as part of the launch of the Safe and Sound: Project Safe. Our community has well rooted and trusted resources that are available to those experiencing crisis and trauma, including advocacy and swift management for action. These partnerships reflect the shared commitment to creating safe, responsive, and supportive environments for children and families by bridging gaps.

The Safe and Sound: Project Safe, is a resource, a liaison you can trust. Through interviewing, learning and agreeing, this task force is aligned with the same agenda, to keep you safe. Awareness, resources and connection are at the forefront of this mission. Privacy, and swift solutions, without fear, is the goal.
Together with our community leaders we will help address the gaps in communication and crisis resources in efforts to fill the gaps and provide direct resources for those with immediate needs. Our goal is to remove barriers and fear from getting the help that is available while providing the youth and caretakers relief and hope.

Project Safe:
The card.
The society.

Project Safe: The card.
The lost. Because we have not found you.
The Safe Card is for the teen that cannot go home, for whatever reason. Or, has no consistent home or means to get by. In this case, there is danger. Often the need is kept private and when danger is near, the support has not been set up. The Safe Card is support. A private society, with resources, provided by those that know what it's like to be in this situation and the fear and shame that comes with it. Having a safe card could save your life. Keep your name private and join the Safe Card Society, a team of protectors with one goal, to keep you safe.
If you find yourself in these situations, please contact us for an interview. All minors must have parent approval to receive a safe card.
